Two key components of advocacy are listening and empowering. A main goal of mine is to empower your organization by listening to and understanding your organization’s specific needs. I will help tailor a plan to help move your organization in a forward momentum using guidance and proven methodologies to do so.

Rates start at $55 per hour

  • If an incident of abuse has already occurred in your organization, we can work together to evaluate and respond. A humble and trauma-informed response is critical following an abusive incident.

  • Working together, we will review the protocols your organization has in place, identify what can be adjusted, and discuss what to strengthen.

Training

Training is there to create a general awareness of the needs of our communities. It is also there to begin to address any anxieties of how to respond to those who have been traumatized.

Training can be provided to anyone from organizational leadership to volunteers and congregation members.

Listed are some of the topics I am able to speak to and lead trainings over. Additionally, I can work with you on customizing a trainings or trainings specific to your organization’s needs.

Rates start at $110 per hour

  • Based on the concept of hospitality, we will look at how to foster trauma-informed environments in our organizations. From examining the principals applied to the group norms, this course will look at the overall culture of a trauma-informed culture.

  • This training is aimed at how to respond to disclosures of trauma and abuse in an appropriate and compassionate way. By talking through the possibility now, we can be prepared when those conversations happen. For leadership trainings, this course can also cover how to respond as an institution and leadership.

    Also covers how to make Child Protective Services reports, Title IX reports, etc.

  • Covering Institutional Abuse (Religious Abuse if applicable) and how offenders can use the systems to their advantage. This training looks at how organizations are often set up and the possible footholds that they provide to offenders. This training is aimed to identify weak areas and empower attendees on how to spot manipulation within organizations.

  • This training covers the various abuses and traumas faced by those in our organizations. This training is here to provide awareness.
